Yes, it certainly has been awhile.
There has just been so much going on this month. I feel like I'm letting myself go a bit. But I don't care. Ah, not much has changed. School is stressing and dull, I need glasses, and Marching Band is finally coming to an end. I really do need to devote myself to the 8 required hours of sleep that a human needs to function. I'm living off caffeine. There just aren't enough hours in the day, minutes in a hour & seconds in a minute!

For starters, last week was an alright. We had a three-day weekend that absolutely kicked ass! Monday [10/9] I went with Kristin & Rain to the Atreyu, From First to Last, Chiodos, & Everytime I die show in San Antonio. We had a blast! It was by far one of the best shows I've been to. FFTL wasn't as great as they were when I saw then in January, but they still kicked ass. Chiodos is now was of my fave bands. I even got to take a pic with one of their guitarist. Then came Saturday [10/14], the Pre-District Marching Band contest in Robstown. We did well , but we couldn't beat out those other 4a bands to take home any trophies. Everyone was pretty bummed.

Now to this week. Wednesday, [10/18] I took the PSATs along with 441 other students! I didn't have a hard time with it compared to last year. I get my scores in December. Today, we Marching Band went to Robstown yet again for the District Marching Band Contest. Everyone was pretty nervous mainly due to the fact that we haven't brought home a 1 from Robstown in years. After we performed, everyone had positive thoughts compared to last week. After TAMUK performed, they announced the scores. It seemed like everyone was getting 2's, except for those big bands like Alice and Kingsville. GP [whom we beat at Friday's game!] we right before us...they got a one. Then came us. A.C. Jones High School.......then came this pause that seemed to last forever......uno. Well they didn't exactly say uno. But you know. I was beyond excited & happy! All that hardwork paid off. I even got to see some major gay boy/straight girl makeout action! Saturday kicked ass! Eight years in a row! 3 for me. Besides all the drama, this season was cool. I became friends with some really awesome people & just had a blast.

I ecstatic about next week. No practice until Thursday! That means major nappage after school. Finally! We had three more football games to go, but I predict that it'll be more since our football team has been kicking major ass [7-1].

Well I'm wayy tired. I had a very long day. I was in a parade, practiced, marched at contest & explored Wal-Mart Supercenter! Gahlee. I don't know where I get all this energy from.
